I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask newbie questions like this.. but I don't know where else to ask heh. I loooove fishing, it's so fun, I could do it all day and not get bored. Problem is... I totally suck at it and never catch anything haha. I think my biggest problem is the location I usually go to ... but I don't know anyone that's very interested in fishing so when I can actually find someone to go with me.. we end up going to martins fork lake... the part that kinda sucks.
Soo I have a few questions. When are the best times to go fishing? It's been really warm and nice out lately and I'm really excited to go.. but is it too early? I don't really care what type of fish I catch.. as long as I catch SOMETHING. What are good baits/lures? What type of fish should a beginner like me go for? Last time I went fishing I used a ton of nightcrawlers.. and all of the little fish just nibbled it off the hook. Then we used chicken liver for catfishing with no luck. Oh and does anyone know of any good spots to go fishing in or near southeast kentucky? I'm sooo excited.. can't wait to start. Hopefully I'll catch something bigger than a 6 inch sun granny this time. lol. [sly]
Thank you!!!
