June 1st report
#1
Don and I hit the islands around 2 on Friday to find lots of ripping current and some waves in my usual haunts, so we found a nice rocky ledge and started bouncing big paddle and curly tail plastics with 8 to 12 oz lead heads off the bottom. Don caught a small ling and a quill back and I caught a small ling, about 730 the current finally slowed down and we raced back to one of my favorite spots where Don caught a nice cabazon and a ling and I caught a ling...then we raced for the boat ramp before dark. Just made it..
