Pineview - 06/18/07

Fished Pineview today. We caught two muskies, and a bunch of smallies, perch, & carp. Unfortunately the muskies shook off before we could get the camera, but they were fun to look at. I had never caught them before. Here are some pictures of the day. We fished kalins grubs for the bass and perch, perch colored rapalas for the muskies, and cheese for the carp.

Sounds like a productive day. That carp is about as long as your kid!

Gotta love weekdays out there too. Kind of busy, but no where near weekend rush. I was out there yesterday (would've called you Matt, but was kind of a last minute trip!) after work and got into a couple big carp in the same area as before with the same method. Also, found some decent smallies (nothing too big, 10" or so) and the occassional perch that could fit my tube into its mouth. No tigers though, but I'll keep on keepin' on with that pursuit. Beautiful evening too, sunny and not too much.. uh you know.
