ORLANDO, FLORIDA - ACR Electronics, Inc. will introduce to the hunting trade at SHOT 2009 the world's newest and smallest Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) - the MicroFixâ„¢2, a one-button activated, emergency signaling device for outdoor enthusiasts.
Designed with hunting in mind, the MicroFixâ„¢2 has all new high performance features such as:
* Built-in LED strobe light increases visibility to Search And Rescue
* More efficient design uses less power, making it smaller and lighter.
* A 42-channel GPS engine gives faster acquisition, a bonus in any rescue where seconds count
* Other new features will be demonstrated at ACR booth #4793 throughout the SHOT Show
