I was wondering...I just joined and live here on Bft. I want to start enjoying the water more and what better way than to go offshore fishing. I have been gigging several times since I moved here so I DO know some awesome spots for that...which believe this weekend will be great for that. Is there anyone in this forum that is from the Bft area...that is SC. Thanks!

I"m not in Beaufort, but I fish out of Murrells Inlet. I've fished the bay there in your area a few years ago, and it was a great experience.

I fish mostly offshore, mostly bottom fishing. At least, until they just changed the regs on us. They are making it more and more difficult for recreational anglers. We went out this past Saturday and caught a few kings and some larger spanish. It was quite a bit rougher than the weather forecast projected, so we didn't stay long.

What kind of boat do you have?
