RE: Fish finder advice - mdt - 03-10-2024 finally have my decision on a fishfinder for my boat. A fellow co-worker gave me a lowrance elite 7x finder that he had taken off of his boat. Couldn't beat the price. Just ordered a transducer and a power cord for it. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for all of the advice. Thanks for all of the advice.I have the same unit on my ThunderJet. Bought it at a Cabela's Bargain Cave in Texas for under $500. The previous owner had mounted the transducer on top of the mounting bracket (pointing up) and brought it back to them. Been working great ever since I installed it with the transducer pointing down. ? |
