Re: [allinone] fish finder for ice fishing - downed_Phly - 01-10-2015 Man, flashers can be crazy pricey. I just ordered a USED troller 2.0 handheld off ebay for $150. As much as I'd like to own one of the fancier units, they all seem to cost $500+. I DO have an underwater camera. Lots of fun when the water is clear. But, as mentioned, there IS a learning curve. It's difficult to find your lure if it's not at the bottom of a lake - matching camera depth with lure depth mid-water-column is tricky. Never had a lot of problems with fish getting tangled, but it DID happen from time to time. Picked mine up from cabelas a few years back. Although last year it was starting to get hazy on the screen. I'll let you know if I prefer a flasher to a camera. I'm leaning to the flasher already because the camera shows such a small window [signature] |
