I've decided to try some #12 hooks for some Elk Hair Caddis Pattern. Did not take me long to figure out that for details I needed a magnefying glass. [:/] Wonder how Fly-Tiers manage with # 20 to 36 ??? Do they wear for glasses bottom of Coke bottle lens? [frown] What a difference it makes, but you got to find the confortable distance of the lens with the tip of your vice. I went to Lee Valley Tools and tried a pair on. It wasn't good for me. No comfortable and did not like the quality and magnification of the lens.
