Does any one have any advise on how to fish Fremont Lake Wy thru the ice.

We fish there 7 to 8 days every year. It is one of my favorite places to fish thru the ice. Use tube jigs tipped with Sucker meat. We also do well with a variety of spoons. If you are not seeing fish on your finder, move around. It is a huge lake. I like to target 35-40 ft of water. Jig agressively until you see fish then slow it down a little. When you see them go toward your lure on the flasher slowly take it away. This usually will trigger a strike. They call this lake the dead Sea for good reason. It is a very difficult place to fish. Ice is around 8" by the boat ramp right now. It got about 4" of snow last night. If you are able to take a snowmobile it will help you out a lot. Good luck.

Thank you for the excellent report. I have always wanted to icefish that pond so i will give it a whirl this weekend. I may also try Bolder lake if I get a chance.
