Anderson ranch bass - Ncfshman1 - 05-16-2017

Hey guys I'm looking at giving Anderson a try for some bass i have only trolled for kokes up there and only bass fish on CJ. I was wondering what kind of baits might catch a fish or two and what end of the lake would be best to stay on . Any advice would be great because I will be going pretty blind as far as Anderson bass.
Thanks.

Last week was a crankbait bite. Just watch the bassboats. There is at least one tournament a week for the next couple months up there. To win you have to set in one spot all day, it's way boring, but a 20 lb bag is possible. Running the banks produces 1.5 lb fish.

Gotcha mostly crawl color cranks I'm guessing. Are the guys sitting in one spot just finding them suspended

No
The fish are roaming around the gravel and sand thinking about the spawn. Smallies are hunters and sometimes in packs.
