Colors for Plastics - PunkBass - 02-11-2004

Hey
I was just wondering what other people use for colors for there plastics, such as Texas rigs, carolina and jerk baiting. Like what color for stumps downed trees brush, thick weeds, lilly pads. Just thought i would ask to compare to what i like.
Thanks,

I use mainly blue fleck and pumpkinseed. They seem to work the best in the waters I fish. But I have about 30 other colors just in case.

hey fyshrmn
I just got some new powerbait 7" ribbon tails in pumpkinseed.
Do you think they would work for cover like stumps and logs or do you think a red color would be better?
thanks,
Michael

I'd go with the pumpkinseed I've never had much luck with red, but then I'm down here in Kansas.

Hey Mike, I usually like to go with pumpkinseed, watermelon, or junebug, it depends where I'm fishing. Somthing with chartruese is always a plus on a carolina rig.
