Here is an update. I just got new yak and I'm itching to try it out. Looks like EC may be the place for it.

I was up there today and didn't even attempt to get on the ice. It was not looking good at all. I went to strawberry instead. If the temps stay warm at EC it may be some good ice off fishing in a week or two, maybe less?
