Here's the GoPro Down Hole Perspective of some Big Rainbow Trout Reacting to the Dead stick presentation of a tungsten jig and half meal worm. If you fish for trout and still haven't tried a dead stick presentation with a micro jig then you are truly missing out. Some of the biggest fish on some of the most off days will still hit this set up. Check out this underwater video footage and I hope your eyes are opened to trout behavior under ice and the usefulness of a dead stick / auto fisherman.

How far under the ice was the jig? Looks like pretty shallow depth too, because it appears I can see the bottom. Are you still ice fishing up there?

Yup we are still ice fishing up here. We were out on monday. My buddy went yesterday and fished my holes and said it was -13 Degrees C, and there was 2 inches of ice on the holes I drilled. So she isn't melting yet. Crazy eh.
This was in about 4 to 5 feet of water. So pretty shallow.
