A new kayak fisherman - amik - 07-24-2018
My grandkids received kayaks for their birthdays this year and I installed Scotty rod holders on two of them. I took my 9 year old grandson out yesterday for his 1st kayak fishing adventure and what a success. It’s unbelievable how fast kids can learn to maneuver a kayak and use it as a useful fishing tool. Although I had to assist occasionally to remove a hook from a landed fish he was out there doing his own thing on his own boat.

Looks like a fun trip. Those youth kayaks are nice and cheap, a great way to get kiddos into the sport. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like you had a lot of fun. Kayak fishing can be a lot of fun, especially when you get a big fish that wants to fight.
