Get the kids up to Echo - Perch - mule_skinner45 - 09-08-2019
Took my old bulldog up to cool off at Echo. Drove down to the beach N/W of the boat ramp. Threw out a 1/2 worm under a bobber. Couldn't keep the dink perch off. Only fished for about a half hour, but had fish on every cast as soon as the worm hit the water. We need to thin them out so it will not be like Pineview. Kids will have a ball, they're fun to catch and the fillets are delicious!

I saw ya, I think, I was on the other side of the Marina. I agree it is hot and a great place for kids to get some action. I had a hard time early with really small ones, but upsized to a 2" tube jig.. the small ones still messed with it but had a harder time which increased my pickups on some nicer sizes.
