Question for duck hunters. - fishing4thehog - 09-29-2019

I was out for a drive looking for geese. Driving west on Gentile. On the west end before makes the bend back to the north, there's some WMA property ??? I can't seem to find any WMA property there. Looked on Google Maps. searched WMA sites. Is anybody know if that land can be hunted for ducks pheasants?

That is the Layton-Kaysville WMA managed by Farmington Bay. Is open for waterfowl and should be for pheasant.

That's called the Gailey entry point, but the gravel road to the parking area is a bit more East of that big bend....gate should be open....I hunted there quite a bit 10, 15, 20 years ago, before things got so phragged in...lots of hiking, but it still may be worth it....Guluk...

Thanks to both of you for your reply.
I drove out there a couple days ago.. I located the gate you were talking about. It was locked. There wasn't any signs saying what this area was. Well if it's all phragged out, then not for me.. I'll head out there today to see if there is any changed.
Thanks again..
