Spanish Oaks - Envenomation09 - 03-23-2020 Went and fished Spanish Oaks for a couple hours on Friday and did really well fishing a black 1/64 oz simi seal leech under an indicator. I like tying them on jigs cause it is way easier than tying a balanced leech and fishes exactly the same. The fish were in close to shore, always less than 20 feet out. It was almost every cast and catching those stockies was a whole lot of fun for 2 or so hours! Not too many folks up there. A nice way to spend an afternoon without going too far. RE: Spanish Oaks - richyd4u - 03-24-2020 Always nice to get a bend on the 'ol fly rod, no matter what you're catching! WTG RE: Spanish Oaks - _6x_ - 03-27-2020 Thanks for the report! That's a good idea. RE: Spanish Oaks - fishalot13 - 03-27-2020 Those are good smoker size! Hold overs are fun to catch! |
