Lower Provo - FishfulThinkin - 04-18-2020 With Wasatch County still closed I decided to check out some of my boyhood fishing holes on the lower Provo yesterday. I used to ride my bike to the river in north Provo when I was a boy and fish spinning gear with flies, spinners grassshoppers, helgramites or whatever. I'm definitely out of practice since I spend most of my time in my boat these days. It was a beatuiful evening and I had my stretch of river to myself. The water was a little higher than I prefer but still fishable and it was good to get out. No browns were harmed but this was one skunk that actually felt pretty good. RE: Lower Provo - klam - 04-18-2020 So is Wasatch still closed? "Starting Friday, Utah state parks will be reopened to out-of-county residents, Gov. Gary Herbert said" RE: Lower Provo - FishfulThinkin - 04-18-2020 Herbert's order was for any State Parks that are not under County order. Wasatch is still closed to non county residents until May 1. Several other posts have the link to the county order. Here's the link http://coronavirus.wasatch.utah.gov/Portals/9/Signed%20copy%20of%20stay%20at%20home%20order%203_30_2020.pdf RE: Lower Provo - brookie - 04-18-2020 Sure wish Wasatch would get their fingers out of their noses and get with the program. |
