RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - RockyRaab2 - 02-08-2022 I think it's upside down, but that's a great catch. RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - wiperhunter2 - 02-08-2022 Nice haul there Bob, looks like your persistence paid off. RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - 2knots - 02-08-2022 Good haul RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - wyoguy - 02-08-2022 Ya did good, Bob! RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - MWScott72 - 02-08-2022 Good eats coming your way! Curious if you, or anyone else here, has tried eating the perch skeins (egg sacs)? I did this last week and was pleasantly surprised. No fishy taste at all and the texture and flavor reminded me of hush puppies. Definitely makes a haul of 10-15 perch go alot further on the dinner table! RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - wiperhunter2 - 02-08-2022 (02-08-2022, 09:03 PM)MWScott72 Wrote: Good eats coming your way! RE: A report - Feb 7, 2022 - jjannie - 02-09-2022 Nice job! We're still trying to duplicate a day like you had Bob. Maybe tomorrow? Basically just like you would fry a regular fillet. Just use your favorite breading. Dredge in egg, roll in breading, and fry. You want it to be slightly moist inside when done. Give it a try!
