Lincoln Beach - ELM 71 - 07-25-2022

HI Folks
                 Does anyone know if there is an Algie bloom at Lincoln Beach? From the boat ramp out to the springs is what 
Im mostly interested in. Will be in a tube. Thanks for any info .

There is almost always some of the regular green algae.  But so far there have been no reports of the cyanobacteria algae that is dangerous.  Our waters are being closely monitored these days and there will be public health alerts when dangerous levels are detected.

There is almost always some of the regular green algae.  But so far there have been no reports of the cyanobacteria algae that is dangerous.  Our waters are being closely monitored these days and there will be public health alerts when dangerous levels are detected.

On July 6 I got a text that lincoln was at the "warning" level. That is the lower level of alert and they haven't said anything worse since then.
