Uinta fish quest - CookiePirate - 06-10-2023
Tried to get into Whitney today. Didn't get far, still too many drifts in the road. Some people cut around the drifts off road, and may have made it a lot farther but that' not how we do things. Ended up enjoying a fire and some beautiful scenery. We will fish again....

At least you got out and gave it a try, looks like it's going to be at least a few more weeks, if not longer if this cooler weather hangs on. Were you able to get up to that river that goes under the main road, on the Mirror lake highway?

I was up there yesterday (Kamas side) and got up to Lily and Lost lakes. Along with Trial, they're fishable, but just barely. Crews are working to clear the road, but I'm betting it'll be at least July 4th before any of those campgrounds open.
