Lake Buchanan Guide Report - JimF - 06-25-2004 LAKE BUCHANAN: Water murky upper-clear lower; 82 degrees; 1018.10 (Above Flood Pool Stage) Largemouth are good at first light in 8'-14' of water in flooded bushes using chart. Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com) tubes; white/chart. Terminator tungsten spinnerbaits and Texas rigged watermelon/red Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) or Senkos during the day work shaded ledges and the shady side of boat docks w/ Ice Tea Scoundrel worms on a 3/0 "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com) & watermelon/red Snap Back jerkbaits. Stripers are fair to good in 28'-35' from Flag Island to the dam bottom trolling 1/2 oz. white Hyper Striper jigs(www.kgenterprise.com) w/chart. trailers and tight-lining live bait. White Bass are fair early on creek points in 20' using Spoiler Shads, Pirk Minnows and Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com).
