Cabellas has some good deals on winter boots in the Bargan cave section of there website. I just received the lacross pac boots for $29.95. I know Its a little early to think about ice fishing, but I like to plan ahead.

Good tip! I suppose they have quite a few things priced down for ice fishing this time of year. For instance, I bought a Strike Master 10" Lazer power auger for 169.00. It seemed like a bargon to me so I snatched it up.
Ya know its never to early to think about, yet to start getting stuff rounded up for ICE FISHIN' is it? Man do I love fishin' from the hard deck. Altho' I have to admit, bobbing around in my float tube without waders now and then over the past couple of weeks has been nice too.

Thanks for the good tip. I am looking for a new pair of boots for this winter. It is never to early or to late to get ready for hard water.

I know what you mean. I was going to pick up a pair toward end of last winter, But I couldn't find what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay so I suffered through the ice fishing season with my old pair.
