Steelhead/Salmon in Elma or Buckley area - Caddfly - 08-12-2004

I am headed up to Washington on the Sept 1 for the wife's family reunion, but somehow convinced her of me escaping and doing some steelhead fishing. I'll be fly-fishing, but have never gone after steelhead before. I have scouted the Satsup and Wynoochee (by Elma) but have never fished them. Can anyone give me some info on where and particular fly patterns that might be useful? Thanks in advance.

there is a member on the michigan board who goes out after them on the great lakes and inland waters with flys.

you may want to drop in and ask Stormy what to use. I would guess there would not be a major differance between the steal head here and there....
