Mozingo: 77 degrees, normal, clear; channel catfish, black bass and crappie fair; bluegill good on yellow grasshoppers. (Report made on 8/18/2004)
Paho: 75 degrees, normal, dingy; all species slow. (Report made on 8/18/2004)
Pony Express: 82 degrees, low, clear; channel catfish fair in the evening and late at night on nightcrawlers and tobacco worms; all other species slow. (Report made on 8/18/2004)
RIVERS
Chariton: normal, dingy; channel catfish good on dip type stinkbaits. (Report made on 8/18/2004)
Grand: 81 degrees, falling, muddy; channel catfish and flathead catfish fair early morning and late evening on live baits in the current; blue catfish slow; all other species good. (Report made on 8/18/2004)
