who is going to vote for the teenie bopper? - davetclown - 10-07-2004

I hear there is a young lady running for mayor in your fine state in a town with 350 registered voters.

I was wonder who if any one is voteing in this election...

the young lady is still in high school and taking comunity ed in a local collage.

already she has learned how to twist the words from two presedents... is she a prodigy or is opertunity just a knockin?

I heard about this too. Unfortunately, she's too young to legally hold an office. If she wasn't, and she was in my town, I'd vote for her!

I dont remember what town she is from,

DDR, I do remember here saying that she will be of age to hold office when the time for the change of the gard accures. it is several months after the election is held before any one takes the new office position.

there is something about the town being unincorporated which makes emune to the state 21 year of age rule.

there was a young man back in the 80 who took up the office of mayor of cinncinnattie Ohio at the age of 18. no one would run against him because the town was going bankrupt and he was the perfect patsie...
