Macks Inn - Everet14 - 07-03-2005
After driving to the top of Sawtell Peak with my family I fished Macks Inn for a little while, just to try out a few new patterns. I did manage one trout, about a 13 inch Rainbow that fought me pretty darn good on my 5 wieght. I caught the trout on a my Green Flashback Scud. Tight Lines!

Good to here a report about that part of the river. I spent a lot of time fishing that part of the Henry's Fork a few years ago.
The F&G stopped planting the rainbows in there a few years ago so anything over 10" isn't very common. There are plenty of smaller(6") rainbows and brook trout as well as a white fish in a few holes. The Henry's Lake outlet has also been pretty tough the last few years.
