Does anyone out there know if the weeds are up to high to do any trolling on the lake right now?

I was there July 22 - 25. The weeds are begining to be a problem. The fishing was great, the catching was very slow. The problem last week was the wind. They had a big blow on Wednesday, 50mph that upset the whole lake. It was windy friday, saturday, sunday and monday, not 50mph but still real windy.

If you troll in the middle of the lake toward Wild Rose Ranch on the north shore, there is about a square mile of open water with very few weeds there. If you want to catch fish there you should fish from 6-9 in the morning and 7-9 in the evening. Flyfishing has been excellent (41 fish on Tuesday morning) around the mouths of the creeks.

I AM PLANNING A TRIP TO HENRYS ON THE WEEK OF SEPT. 26TH.
IS THERE GENERALLY ONE SPOT BETTER THAN THE OTHERS AROUND THAT TIME OF YEAR? IN THE PAST I HAVE FISHED THE CLIFFS OR DUCK CREEK.
