As far as the question on ice fishing conditions in Malad or Preston area, I have been by Devils Creek on a quick trip and couldn't stop to fish. It appears to have some decent ice forming and I would think that ice fishing is about to take off there. No other specific news from that area, but, I would also speculate that with the weather that we are having that some of the lakes down that way should be getting real close also.

We fished Henry'slast weekend of August to first weekend of Sept. this year. I did fantastic. As far as the changes, I am happy they are changing closing date, cause the weeds were still a problem when we were there. As far as the dusk till dawn, I think that could be good also. I do want to say, that while I was there I hooked about 15 good sized chub, so, I am going to say to let some of the big hybids go, Take a picture, weigh it, measure it and let it go. Otherwise I see the Strawberry thing happening to a killer lake.

I caught 35 hydrid fish not counting the 15 chub over a 5 day trip with nothing being under 24" largest over 32" fatties.
