Coeur d'Alene Salmon - PikeFish - 04-16-2006 Hey for anyone interested the Salmon on Coeur d'Alene are biting very well and have been for a while. They are right on the surface and up in the bays so fish shallow, top 20 feet of water. Most people are trolling what we call straigh bait, that is a herring with a hood and NO dodger, or they are trolling a plug that will dive 10 feet or so. Having planer boards will really help when they are this shallow. Hopefully you will have a chance to get out there and try it. ![]() [signature] Re: [PikeFish] Coeur d'Alene Salmon - wiperhunter2 - 04-17-2006 Thanks for posting the update about Coeur d' Alene, I only wish the lake was closer to where I live. How big do the salmon get there? WH2 [signature] |
