Lake LBJ - JimF - 01-09-2001

Largemouth fishing is coming into prime time on Lake LBJ. Bass are heavy and most active from 11:00 AM to late afternoon along rip rap. Look for channels or ditches cutting through or along shallow flats and work a crawfish Creme
Super Tube, 1/4 oz. pumpkin or watermelon Terminator jig or
an Ice Tea Devil's Tongue on a split shot rig. Fishing will only
be getting progressively better and peak about Valentines Day. Blacks, smallmouth, stripers, white bass and crappie
will all be spawing before or at that time.
For information or to book a guide trip on Lake Buchanan, LBJ,
Canyon Lake or Choke Canyon contact Jim Files at (830) 833-5688 or email jimfish@moment.net.

JR'S FISHING GUIDE SERVICE
Largest guide service in South Central Texas.
