Pics of Stonefly patterns - rgreenland - 06-07-2006

Would anyone mind posting a few stonefly patterns for me to see? I think I do have a few in my box....but they may be too big. What size is the best to use?

Too Big? Not!!
That is part of the fun of the Stone Fly Hatch, being able to throw big flys. Generaly they are size 8 to 2.

Re: [HFT] Pics of Stonefly patterns - flygoddess - 06-09-2006

I had a trip a Memorial weekend. Tips were great. We had the cold front move in that weekend, but I managed to get my two clients in about 50 fish in two days and a few over 20". One client was happy as heck, the other wanted more for his money.....I guess you can't please them all.
Two other guides that weekend couldn't get their clients any fish, so I thought I nailed it.
As I said though, the clients tipped me real well, so I musta done something right[Wink]
