Public Meeting Regarding Slot Limit on Harris Reservoir (Lake Wedowee) - FishNews - 11-17-2006
What: The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division will host a meeting to present the data that led to a slot limit regulation change for Harris Reservoir. Departmental representatives will provide information on the various harvest restriction options studied and will discuss the presented data and current regulation that became effective April 1, 2006. Additionally, findings from the spring 2006 creel survey of the fishery and the spring 2006 bass population sample will also be presented.
All interested anglers and recreational users of Harris Reservoir are encouraged to attend.
