Lake Level Alert Service - lakelevelalert - 01-31-2007 I run a FREE online service for lake enthusiasts to use called http://lakelevelalert.com . The service monitors lake levels for 36 lakes in the U.S currently and alerts registered users via email when their lake rises to or falls below levels specified by the user. This service was originally designed to simply help folks who do not live at the lake to know when to move their docks or boats due to high and low water levels ultimately to avoid groundings/ submersions or damage as a result of changing lake levels. Fishing guides and anglers have since begun using the service to let them know when certain creeks and channels were usable or not. Please visit http://lakelevelalert.com and check it out. It is FREE for anyone to use. If you do not see your lake currently listed as one that I monitor, let me know and I will add it to the system. Thanks. [signature] |
