echo/rockport conditions - FISHINCHIC - 02-28-2003
Has anyone been to Echo or Rockport this week? If so, what are the ice conditions, is there still open water around the edges, and how thick is the ice? Any info would be great.

I'm not positive about those two but a friend went up to East Canyon on Wed. He said the Ice was still away from the edges but with a 8 ft plank he got across so I'm sure the Ice con. at those two are better. It should be freezing up again now that the weather has been cooperating lately

I have not been up there latley but I hear that the fishing is still good but I would definetly take a blank with you just in case, It is kind of a drive just to find no way out on the ice.

] I was up there last week. The ice was about 10 inches. I is hard to drill in. i bet the ice is thicker than last week because it has snowed good the last couple of days. I live about 5 miles from both lakes. Questions call 435-336-2654[signature]
