HOT KOKANEE FISHING AT THE GORGE!! - sockeyeslayer - 07-08-2007
It has been a interesting Year with the countless numbers of small kokanee (Which is good for the Future) but that being said we are still catching great Kokanee and Friday and saturday produced good numbers and The biggest went 4.8 pounds and the average fish that we kept was nearing four pounds!! The fish are starting to move south so Anvil and Pipeline are starting to really turn on..... Hot baits were serpent spoons Caribbean sunset/ mai-tai and pink squids both in our U.V. and double glow series..... Can't wait to get back up next week!!!!

Great to finally hear from you Jared. Your report makes me want to get another trip together this year but the summer is booked with trips already. I’m already planning trips to take next year.
