utah lake cats - knflyfisher1019 - 03-26-2003 Does anyone out there know if the bite has turned o for the cats in utah lake. i used to always go out to bird island as a boy and I want to go out there again this year. i also would be interested in hearing any reports regarding the walleye fishing adn the white bass bite. Thanks, Chris [signature] Re: [knflyfisher1019] utah lake cats - fishboy2 - 03-26-2003 if you scrool down and read my post you will see some cats, but the action in the american fork marina has picked up and a group left with about 20+ cats in a day. there were four but thats still a lot of fish. Use a double swivel with a shrimp on one and a crawler on the other it worked real well, they were not hitting real hard though. I have had lots of sucess catching cats in the same area with srimps and chicken livers. I just make sure I keep my bait away from those danged stray cats though... Just kidding, but I imagine a cat in a sack might make for some good attractant. [signature] |
