Back on the water. Still learning the ropes of freshwater. I have been improving now I am starting to catch a fish or two. Will report later. I have been using plastic but minnow size. I grabbed some 4" wild eye shad. Now I am improving. More patience slower but I feel more rewarded when I get one. I used to troll for striper in the ocean with 4-6 huge umbrella rigs. Then cast out a huge plastic eel behind the rigs 30 pounders were norm and it was a mess lines all over the place 3 guys running around trying not to become a tangled mess. The fresh is more man with nature than slob with 60+ hooks in the water. I will report later. and look for some new spots to fish. I like match the hatch I have had my bites on silver yellow and pink in about a 4" size. They seem to run from green, blue, darker colors and smaller sizes.
