Good foshing in the south - Windy - 04-07-2003 I find good fishing in Southeastern Ohio. I live in the salt creek valley. The bass fishing in the creek is great. I have had so much cold wet weather that fishing has been out since fall. I am now in Port Aransas Texas for the BFT Tournement to be held Saturday April 12. The fishing here has been great so far. ( hope it continues) WE are catching hard head catfish and throwing them back largeer that the yellow bellies we catch at home. The smallest member of the catfish family we have even thought of keeping was a 17 inch Gafftop. WE will be returning to Ohio after the tournament and like many Ohio residents will hang up the pole for a little Turkey Hunting. Maybe by the end of Turkey season, I will be nice and warm to fish the lakes and streams of the home state. [signature] |
