hey california,

has the wildfires this year had any effect on the freshwater fishing? did the bugs go elsewhere do to loss of vegatation, erosion doing wierd things to stream flows etc. just wondering. that has happened here in utah before. just cant imagine what it was like for you folks.

There hasn't been enough of the reprocussion yet. The last batch of wildfires that happened a couple of years ago reeked havoc on several of the fisheries but not until a significant amount of rain came down to wash all the ashes in to the watersheds.

They spent almost 1 full year just trying to clean a couple of the more important lakes before all the contamination could reach the rivers end of it.
