Late bearlake report - wiperslayer1 - 03-26-2008
Sorry for the late report been a little busy. Me and a friend shane hit bearlake last weekend the ice was good about 18". Shane had the hot hand catching four a 9lbs, 6lbs,4lbs and a 14"er I had a tougher time hooking fish but did manage a 6lber. most bites came around 8:00 a.m. and the last fish hit the ice around 1:00 p.m.. No other fisherman on the ice were we was.

Looks like a great day of fishing Ira. Those Bear Lake macks are sure lighter colored than the Fish Lake macks are -- wonder why?

According to BLFG the fish are lighter color because of the minerals in the water, it also gives the water the blue color. The color of the fish might have another reason but that is what I've heard.
