[#008000][Image: surprised.gif]Was looking at a pattern called Autumn Sunset which required one jungle cock nail eye. Do you know that a package of 10 costs $10.75? Wow does a guarantee that one will catch fish come with it?[/#008000]

I bet those would work on a pattern for Peacock Bass. They love to eat small birds.[cool]

Jungle Cock is EXPENSIVE! and hard to get good looking feathers. There is a plastic imitation, but I don't care for them. I read in a magazine once, a little gold paint like for material paint, and Starling feathers...comes real close!
Jungle Cock is used allot in Salmon Flies.

[#008000][Image: happy.gif]I saw a similar on line post as to how to make your own jungle cock nails feathers. Seems like a lot of work particularly if one never gets to use any.[/#008000]
