[crazy]Went south of Rockport looking for some good river fishing, caught two small browns in the first hour I was there then nothing all day. Tried fishing Rockport right where the river enters the reservoir, then headed north looking for more spots hit every turn off and exit from Echo to Ogden, river was very high and muddy tried a couple spots without even a bite. Tried throwing spinners and crawlers...might try fly fishing next time.

I used to live in Francis, 1 mile away from the upper Provo and 3 miles away from Rock Creek, Jordanelle. A neighbor of mine runs the fish hatchery up in Samak said that they don't stock the rivers anymore, hoping that they would be self-sufficient. Anyway, that was 3 years ago and I've converted to lakes. I only flyfished on rivers twice since then. I hadn't had great luck either.
