pineview musky - poorfisherman - 05-16-2003

went to pineview today to do some crappie fishing but nothing. it was real windy. seen a musky roll on the surface so i changed up and on the third cast whammo. he nailed my lure and away he went on a good 20 yard run. after a couple more runs got him to shore for a butiful 38 inch musky! got to love them.

ps the lure i used was a 2 inch storm subwart bass color
north end of pineview by the old highway parking area

Way to go . I am so jealous . Did you use steel leader or did you get lucky without ? I may show up again this weekend for some action or some punishment . [Wink]

usually i use a steel leader but was to lazy to dig in the bottom of the tackle box. so i caught it without one. go figure

hooked it right in the side of the mouth. line was pretty chewed up looking for a coupla inches though[Tongue]
