LATE Willow Pond Report from 3-16 - BADFISH - 03-20-2009
went to willow pond monday night, used salmon eggs 2 to 3 feet under a bobber, had 6 hits, landed 5 let one go due to size and longlined released the one, other four went home to meet my family.
Dont forget the DWR has planted almost 3000 fish in that pond last I checked, and in April the youth fishing club starts up at willow too so get your youngsters over to murray parks and rec in murray park and sign them up. last year I think it was only 10 bucks for the 6 week course, and what a blast!!!
if you dont want a class, at least get the kids out to the pond and get them excited for fishing this season to help our sport/passion be carried on to the next generation.
