My Trophy Fish - cacoon - 03-30-2009
I ran across this picture that I made of my personal trophy fish. Thot you all would enjoy it. I caught a 17lb striper Aug. 06 of the bank at Willow Beach, My first small mouth 5-07 at Echo Bay, My 10.9 Cat out Echo Bay June 08, and my 4.5 lb rainbow from Comins lake in 9-07. I am prepping my boat as I write for my trip on Thur
y to South Cove. This is my first picture post so I hope it works otherwise you just have to visualize hahahahaha.Cacoon

I'm lucky alright. at the time it was the smallest fish I had caught. But I beat that record this summer up at cold springs res. Its on the border of White Pine and Eureka counties. I actually caught a fish that was about three inches long on a #16 treble hook. I have no clue how he got it in his mouth. I didn't take any pictures of that monster! The little guy actually hit hard then I thought I lost him, but the best memory is of my wife spitting out her beer laughing so hard when I wrangled him in.

Great photos! My husband caught a striper about the same size as your smallmouth, out of Willow Beach, last summer. Wish we would have taken a pic! Good luck next weekend, we are headed to Willow Beach this next weekend, hope the weather cooperates.
