Got bored so I went to the lake the catch some cats since I was in Henderson visiting my mother last night. Caught about 2 to 3 catfish an hour. 9-14 inches. Kept 3 of the bigger ones. Didnt manage to catch any stripers.
On a crazy note though.. When I went to check my bait around midnight , as I lifted the rod up a decent LMB 1 to 2 lbs maybe hit my anchovie and I hooked him. That was a first for me! He was a healthy looking bass. tried to take pics but my camera phone sucks at night = /

Thats crazy!
I was out at callville not too long ago bait fishin with chunks of squid, and after soakin the bait for a while, i started reeling in fast to re-bait, and BLAM! a 1.5 lb largemouth nailed it... I can spend an entire day trying to catch bass and fail, but i can nail one on a chunk of squid...
