Repropping for Flaming Gorge - EricCO - 07-02-2003 Does anyone put a less pitched prop on their boat for Flaming Gorge? It will be about 1000 feet more in elevation than here in Denver. What do you guys think? [signature] Re: [EricCO] Repropping for Flaming Gorge - BearLakeMack - 07-02-2003 [font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]No worries, mate. You should be fine. You may loss a little but not much. I'd go with what you got on now if your engine is running at the proper operating RPMs now.[/size][/font] [signature] Re: [EricCO] Repropping for Flaming Gorge - Curtisfish - 07-02-2003 Most folks I know do not have to change the prop for Flaming George. They might lose a couple m.p.h., but not too serious. I lose 2 m.p.h. from Starvation to Flaming Gorge. I can barely get the boat to plane on Strawberry or Fish Lake. If I had one to change to, I would for those lakes. [signature] |
