<br /> Shane and I headed out to good old Parksville yesterday morning... it was the first time Ive been fishing in almost a month. The lake is pretty muddy/stained with all the rain we had last week. <br /> <br /> So we started off fishing a shallow, long and narrow point... landed our first few fish there including a nice 18 inch spaaat and another nice 16-17 incher in the first 30 minutes. The both of us landed 5 fish off the point. <br /> After the sun had come up just a tad the fish already shut down. Although we did manage another 5 spots in the next 2-3 hours, did miss quite a few as well.<br /> All fish were caught on small jigs and finesse worms in the most natural colors we had. <br /> Anyways it was nice to be out and fishing again after not going for almost a month... I still have got to get the carborators on the motor cleaned out today and will be back out there catching a few more fish hopefully soon enough.
