Release tackle crankbait - Bjorn - 10-03-2009 I´ve tried fishing with this release tackle with good results. With this design I can use smaller treblehooks, size 2 instead of 3/0. Smaller , thinner and sharper hooks means easier hooking. That allows me to use a lighter and softer rod. The fish cant use the big bait to help with bending lose. I use the same tackle and just shift the bait when fishing, this means that no hooks needed on the baits in the box. Enyone tried something like this?
